Maher Zain Early Life

          His family moved to Sweden when Maher was the age of eight years, where he continued his education. Maher got the first keyboard when he was ten years old. During his adolescence, he was happy to spend late nights at school with his friends where they will sing, rap, writing and experimenting with music.

2008: Involvement with RedOne

         Having been involved for a while in the music scene as a music producer, Maher was introduced into RedOne , Swedish music producer Birth of Morocco in Sweden. Maher began working with RedOne on several recent projects. Later, he moved to New York where he took part in producing Kat DeLuna on her debut album including the hits " complaining "and" run the show ". He then returned temporarily to Sweden where he had a spiritual 'awakening'.

2009-2010: His Success & Thank You God

           In January 2009, Maher Zain sign up and start working on an album with Awakening Records . This album peaked at number 2 on Amazon's album chart world. Through this album, he gained 8 X platinum in Malaysia with sales of 120,000 units. After releasing this album, he released several other versions of the album, the percussion version in 2009 and the Platinum Edition in 2011.

2011-present: future plans and upcoming studio album

           Maher Zain announced that he has released a version of Malay language for "God willing", after the release of French and Arabic language version along with the video, adding that it would be the song on the second album.
          Fadly from band of Indonesia PADI also contribute to the "Insha Allah" in Indonesian. Maher also sang "For The Rest of My Life" in the Indonesian entitled "sepanjang hidup". Which was released through Sony Music Indonesia. Another music video of Maher was released entitled 'Freedom' in the end of April.
